Investing in our youth through conservation education.

Greenland Point Center is offering a Winter Conservation Camp for boys and girls, ages 10-14.  It will start on Friday, TBD, at 4:00 PM and run through Sunday, TBD at 4:00 PM.

The weekend will include the Maine Snowmobile Safety Course, along with many of Maine’s favorite winter activities.  These activities may include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice-skating, ice fishing, winter hiking, and more!

No prior outdoor experience is necessary.  Any equipment that will be needed will be provided by Greenland Point Center.  Of course, if you have your own equipment you may bring it.  Campers will be staying in heated cabins and they must provide their own bedding (i.e. sleeping bag, pillow, blanket).  You will need to bring warm winter clothing and footwear.  If you have any special diet needs we will gladly accommodate them.  The total cost of the weekend is $200.
